Not once did a player on my team get knocked out for a short period of time. I had three injuries that extended beyond the game they occurred in and I ended up placing all three on the IR. It was disappointing that there were no injuries that cost my players games otherwise. Also no concussions were witnessed through the entire season in user-controlled games. Meanwhile as evidenced by a few of the team images below the CPU was inflicted with short term injuries as well as severe ones.
